Product Design

This course examines how creativity is explored and expressed in related professions and engages in the process of building a design portfolio. The curriculum includes 3D modeling, data analysis and research via graphs in solo and collaborative group exploration. Product Design students will be immersed in an iterative approach to design engineering and asking questions in the context of a client audience. The class will tour a leading consulting product and services design firm and adopt mock-up fabrication approaches for final projects in design with an application of business fundamentals examples.
