Marine Science

This course will include a survey of major marine habitats, from coral reefs to deep seas and ice oceans. It will cover physical, chemical, and biological aspects of each environment, and how the living organisms within each environment meet the challenges imposed upon them. We will also look at marine conservation, and students will design a virtual MPA or "Marine Protected Area," which they will present at the end of the session.
