Innovation and Entrepreneurship

This course provides students with an engaging introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship, including customer insight, marketing, product development, and business models. We emphasize using design thinking to solve real customer problems and build a healthy business. We cover a wide range of fundamental business concepts and explore Silicon Valley companies. The class uses various learning materials, fun exercises, and a team startup final project to bring entrepreneurship to life. We explore career paths and leadership skills to help students discover how a future career in business fits their interests and capabilities.

In addition to the live meeting times, students will engage in out-of-class learning assignments such as assigned readings, group work, pre-recorded online lectures, and more.
