This course provides students with an engaging introduction to innovation and entrepreneurship, including customer insight, marketing, product development, and business models. We will emphasize the use of design thinking to solve real customer problems and build a healthy business. Students explore a wide range of fundamental business concepts and connect them to real-world Silicon Valley companies. The class uses various learning materials, fun exercises, and a team startup final project to bring entrepreneurship to life. We will explore career paths and leadership skills to help students discover how a future career in business fits their interests and capabilities.

*The course will meet for two hours daily (Monday–Friday) for a live online class during this window of time. The third hour is used for online office hours. Students will be admitted to and attend just one course section and time. The exact course time and office hour schedule will be set closer to the start of the program.
