Participate in Student Life Workshops

Take a series of student life workshops engaging in topics such as health and wellness, leadership, life and career planning, design thinking, cross-cultural communication, and more.

General Daily Schedule

The majority of student life programming will occur daily between 12:00pm and 3:00pm Pacific Time with the exception of two evening workshops.

In an effort to accommodate as many participants' schedules as possible, we offer events at a variety of times throughout each session. We also make recordings of workshops available whenever possible for participants who are unable to attend an event in real time.

Read more below about the workshops, events, and activities that participants experience.

Guest Speaker Series

Speakers from a variety of professions and academic disciplines will join us to discuss their research, expertise, career paths, and more. Participants explore how their academic interests, hobbies, or unique skills can translate into an academic major or future career path. Each event includes a question and answer period where participants can ask our guest speakers questions and learn more about fields in healthcare, biomedical sciences, the humanities, and more.

"My favorite student life activity was the guest lectures from various experts in the field of mathematics. These lectures were a unique opportunity to hear from professionals who were not only from academia but also from the industry. They introduced us to a wide array of new topics and fields of interest, such as mathematical applications in technology, finance, and other industries."
Iris, Stanford University Mathematics Camp

Student Life Workshops

Student Life Workshops include a talk by Stanford undergraduate admissions, a stress management workshop, a college essay writing talk, college life workshops, and a college panel with undergraduate students.

"As a freshman, the College Admission sessions offered guidance on what the college application process could look like. Along with tips and tricks, the speakers were engaging and thoroughly answered our questions."
McKenna, Stanford Pre-Collegiate Summer Institutes

Social Gatherings

Social well-being and study breaks are important aspects to being a student. We offer two events that give students the opportunity to engage with their cohort: a Listening Party and Game Night! Participants engage in a social platform for listening room parties! Create a spotify list with your cohort while you learn about your favorite genres. These online social gatherings promote socializing with your peers from around the world.

"My favorite student life activity was Game Night. I got to interact with a lot of people while enjoying the online games. It was a memorable experience."
