Organizational Leadership

Every great initiative has a leader. This course provides students with exposure to key concepts related to being an effective leader: Acting with power (knowing how to hold an authoritative role), inspiring and motivating individuals, and leading teams. Classroom exercises and readings from successful industry leaders and renowned organizational psychologists bring organizational leadership concepts to life. Students will embark on their leadership journey collectively, providing peer feedback, as they conduct interviews and create presentations on real-life leadership scenarios. Students aspiring to serve in executive leadership roles will benefit from this course.

Session Two

*The course will meet for two hours daily (Monday–Friday) for a live online class during this window of time. The third hour is used for online office hours. Students will be admitted to and attend just one course section and time. The exact course time and office hour schedule will be set closer to the start of the program. In addition to the live meeting times, students complete out-of-class learning assignments such as assigned readings, group work, pre-recorded online lectures, and more.
